About Meg

As the Managing Broker and Owner of M&M Realty, Meg Hickey brings decades of experience and leadership to every client she serves. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the University of Cincinnati before building a distinguished career spanning nearly every facet of the real estate industry.

After relocating to Yarmouth, Maine, Meg served as Vice President of Mortgages for Maine Bank & Trust, owned and operated a successful mortgage brokerage in Portland for 15 years, worked as a private lender for more than 20 years, and was a partner in a commercial real estate brokerage. Throughout her career, she has been involved in more than half a billion dollars in real estate transactions and has personally financed, purchased, renovated, and sold numerous investment properties.

Meg's extensive background in both real estate and mortgage lending provides clients with a unique perspective throughout the buying and selling process. She is known for delivering exceptional customer service, expert negotiation, and clear communication while guiding clients through one of life's most important financial decisions. Her commitment to building lasting relationships has resulted in a business driven largely by referrals and a reputation backed by hundreds of five-star reviews.

Outside of real estate, Meg enjoys giving back to the community and serves on the Board of Directors for the Center for Spiritual Care. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball, tennis, and singing with a local band.
